PADRONS HUDSONBEY
Beauti-foals
Without question, the truest test of a sire is in his offspring. After several years of virtual inactivity, Hudsonbey is proving himself again despite limited opportunity. The value of quality over quantity is evident in his three most recent foal crops. While some stallions “dominate” a breeding, passing their strengths equally with their weaknesses, Rocky’s balance, correctness, and overall lack of fault allow him to improve a mare while still letting her positive attributes shine. He does consistently “stamp” his foals with the subtle traits that mark a beautiful athlete: well angled shoulder, short coupling, powerful hindquarter, and correct legs. These qualities contribute to excellent movement, which combined with his intelligence and willing temperament create the ideal show/ sport/ family horse.

CA Rock The Blues
Just four days after the arrival of CA Entiicing, Rocky's first Anglo- Arab was born. "Blue" has the size, substance, and powerful motor of his dam, with more refinement, excellent movement, and type. Blue was sold at two weeks of age, and is destined for success as an endurance horse.

Petroya al Padron
The final foal of '05 was born in upstate New York in late summer. Out of the multi-champion Le Fire daughter Firelaina (x Aristayna by Ariston), "Sassy" is more than just another pretty face, with a kind, willing temperament to complement her excellent conformation and type.

CA Victorious
'06 marked the arrival of the second Anglo- Arab colt by Rocky. If a breeder's goal is to produce offspring with the best characteristics of both sire and dam, "Vic" most certainly achieved that goal. With extraordinary type, size, and movement, he won his MD Futurity halter class before being sold as a weanling. He is sure to excel in his future career in sport horse and endurance.

Perhaps the most eagerly awaited foal crop to date was in 2007. Four exceptional Bey Shah granddaughters were due, giving Hudsonbey his first group of Sweepstakes offspring. The mares did not disappoint...

CA Setareh
In March the Stetson Bey daughter Trevorssiennabey presented a stunning chestnut filly. The name Setareh means Star, and “Stari” is certainly destined to fulfill her promise. Her dam is a daughter of Firelaina, already a proven cross with Rocky. Stari has extreme quality, with a long, stretchy neck, incredible level topline, and tons of chrome. Stari is professionally trained in halter and is ready to begin her show career.
She will be campaigned in Yearling Sweepstakes classes in ’08, and is US and MD Futurity nominated. She is available for purchase to a serious show home only.

CA Enviision
Mid- May saw the arrival of a full sibling to CA Entiicing, another chestnut filly. Again, the cross of Rocky with Enjoli Bey was a success. “Lilli” has incredible size and substance, with long, long legs, super shoulder, short coupling, and tremendous hindquarter. Her bold, ground covering gaits will make her a force to be reckoned with in performance and sport horse disciplines. In her '08 show debut she earned a score of 85.6 in Sport Horse in Hand (USDF sheet) with an 8.8 for her "killer walk" and was overall high scoring SHIH for entire show, all breeds/ ages, including mature warmbloods. Lilli stands 15.2 barefoot at age two, she will likely mature in the 15.3 to 16 hand range. Sweepstakes, US and Md futurity nominated, she is available for purchase to a loving show home.

******************** Shortly after Lilli made her appearance, the multi- champion halter and sport horse mare Angelique Bey (by Stetson Bey) foaled a super- fancy chestnut filly. “Haalo” is the first linebred Rocky foal, as Angelique is his great- granddaughter. Very correct, typey, with beautiful movement and an exceptionally endearing personality, Haalo has been sold to Windwood Arabians, where she will be shown and eventually bred to the lovely pure Polish stallion Wyndikayt. CA Manhatten
CA Haalo

The final ’07 mare to foal was the black bay MS Dior (KMF Rico Suave x All About Style by Bey Shah). After 19 years of producing only fillies from purebred mares Rocky finally has a second purebred son. If custom color and chrome could be pre-selected, Manhatten arrived carrying both. He has a lovely, sculpted face and Rocky's fine, tippy ears, along with a long, well set neck and short coupling. Add his sire's signature personality and this colt has a very bright future. Much like his sire, Manhatten continues to just keep getting better, with a phenomenal front end and incredible presence, he is being retained by CaMiKy as a potential stallion prospect.
